Names reusable, credential-free Git read and publication coordinates.

This is shared compiler configuration referenced by Kubernetes GitOps resources; it is not emitted as a workload manifest.

When needed

Required when a publication, remote ApplicationGroup source, or AppProjectDefinition refers to a named GitRepository.

If omitted

Publications and remote sources can use inline repository coordinates instead. Local ApplicationGroup sources need no repository. Named references must resolve to a declared GitRepository; Nyl does not infer one from the current Git remote.

Fields

Required means required within the containing object. Optional and nullable are distinct; contextual defaults and requirements are explained with each field.

Unknown fields are rejected.

Optional Git write URL. Publication uses repoURL when omitted.

Credential-free Git read URL used by renderers and generated Applications.
